Aayatul-Kursi And Its Meaning


Allah says:



Allah! Laa ilaaha illaa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the Ever-Living (Al-Hayy), the One Who sustains and protects all that exists (Al-Qayyoom).
Neither slumber, nor sleep overtake Him To Him belongs whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth.
Who is he that can intercede with Him except with His permission?
He knows what happens to them (His creatures) in this world, and what will happen to them in the Hereafter.
And they wilt never encompass anything of His knowledge except that which He wills
His throne extends over the heavens and the earth, and He feels no fatigue in guarding and preserving them
And He is the Most High (Al-‘Aliyy), the Most Great (Al-‘Atheem).
[Soorah Al-Baqarah (2) Aayah 255]

This great verse incorporates the three types of Tawheed. It includes a number of names and attributes, each of which represents one of the foundations of the creed of Islam:

Allah's saying "Allahu Laa ilaaha illaa Huwa" establishes the principle of Uloohiyyah, which is itself the foundation of Tawheed, and from which stems Islam's attitude to life in general. This principle obliges us to be worshipers of none but Allah. Man should direct his service, worship and obedience to Him alone, adjudicate only by this laws and derive his values, ethics and ideas only from Allah.

Al-Hayy ul-Qayyoom - “The Ever Living, the One Who sustains and protects all that exists", has confirmed two of His great names.

Al-Hayy - The Ever-Living is He who has a continuous life with no beginning or end. Allah is ascribed with a life that is self-sustaining. It has no external source, unlike the lives of creatures that have been granted to them by the Creator. As He was, together with His attributes, before all else, so shall He remain throughout endless time.

Al-Qayyoom - The One Who sustains and protects all that exists. It is He who sustains the lives of creation and manages all the conditions of the universe. He oversees everything: provides for it, preserves it, watches over it, manages it in the way and for the purpose that He pleases.

These two names "the Ever Living, the One Who sustains and protects all that exists" are among the greatest of Allah's beautiful names. Upon them, the rest of His names are based and around them all their meanings revolve. Allah’s being Alive requires all attributes of perfection, because any lacking of an attribute of perfection originates from the weakness of life. Therefore, if Allah has perfect life, He necessarily has all perfection.

Ibn Uthaimeen mentions.
“Furthermore Allah’s hayaat is characterized by the perfection of Attributes: hearing, sight, knowledge, ability, might and all qualities of perfection.”

The attribute of "the One Who sustains and protects all that exists" incorporates His perfect self-sufficiency and His perfect omnipotence. He does not need help from anybody in any way, and every creature depends on Allah's existence and management.

These two names have a great effect on the life of every Muslim who believes in them and comprehends their meanings. His conscience becomes constantly aware of Allah, in worship, love and obedience; for he knows that his Lord sustains his own life and the entire universe, in accordance with His Wisdom and plan. The servant thus adheres to the system Allah designed for his life, Islam, from which he derives his values and criteria and seeks guidance for his actions in all circumstances.

Allah's saying:
"Neither slumber, nor sleep overtake Him" is a reiteration of the fact that Allah is the Sustainer of everything. Slumber and sleep contradict the quality of complete and perfect life and the attribute of the Self-Subsisting because sleep is only required of the creature who gets tired and needs rejuvenation and rest.

Allah’s saying:
"To Him belongs whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth" confirms His ownership of all things. Allah enjoys an unfettered and absolute authority over His possessions, which He shares with no other being. Belief in those facts, once it takes root in the heart, has an immensely beneficial effect on a believer's life.

Allah's saying:
"Who is he that can intercede with Him except with His permission?" makes clear the status of Lordship (Ar-Ruboobiyyah) and worship. Every human being is a servant of Allah. He does not exceed the boundaries of that status and therefore cannot intercede with Allah without His permission. Our faith (‘aqeedah) thus makes a clear distinction between the nature of the Supreme Creator and His worshippers. They neither mingle nor do they have a single characteristic in common. None can intercede except by Allah’s Permission: His Leave is universal. Even Muhammad (sallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) who has the greatest rank with Allah cannot intercede except with the prior leave from Allah. He will be granted this permission after he ® prostrates before Allah and praises Him with the great praises and glorifications which Allah guides him to it on that day. Then it will be said: Raise your head and speak; you will be listened to, intercede and our intercession will be accepted.

[It is known] that no one have a rank with Allah greater than that of the Messenger [Muhammad], nevertheless, he (sallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) cannot intercede except with the prior leave of Allah.

Allah says:
"He knows what happens to them (His creatures) in this world, and what Will happen to them in the Hereafter. And they will never encompass anything of His knowledge except that which He wills". This is a confirmation that His knowledge encompasses all time and place and things. It is also a reference to the weaknesses of human beings and the limitations of their knowledge which does not exceed that which Allah wishes them to know. A Muslim's awareness of this fact makes him ever-conscious of his Lord, mindful of the limits of behavior and conduct He has set, and quick in turning to Allah in gratitude and repentance. It also makes him avoid arrogance and self-satisfaction.

Allah's saying:
"His Kursi (footstool) extends over the heavens and the earth, and He feels no fatigue in guarding and preserving them" is proof of the completeness of His power. The size of the Kursi (as explained in the authentic hadeeth) is in comparison to the ‘Arsh (Throne) that of a person’s ring thrown into a vast desert.

Allah concluded this great verse by mentioning two of His beautiful names: And He is the Most High (Al-‘Aliyy), the Most Great (Al-‘Atheem).

Al-‘Ali [The Most High] means that He is High and Exalted above His creation. No one transgresses by trying to rise to His status without being reduced to humiliation in this world and disgraced with punishment in the Hereafter.

Al-‘Atheem [The Most Great] means that all greatness is Allah's, and that nothing is of equal status with Him, but everything is below Him. When man becomes aware of Allah's greatness and Exaltation, he realizes his own worth and settles in the station of worship of his Lord. He does not transgress against Allah's bounds, but fears Him, obeys His commands, and rectifies his conduct towards Him and towards His creation.

These then are some of the facets of the greatness of this verse. Each Muslim should learn it by heart, contemplate its meanings and recite it often. There are many Ahaadeeth relating to its excellence and merits. One is a long hadeeth narrated on the authority of Abu Hurayrah (radiallahu ‘anhu) in which the Prophet (sallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) was reported to have said to him: "When you go to your bed, you should recite Aayatul-Kursi) from the beginning to the end, by reciting it there will be posted a guardian over you from Allah who will protect you during the whole night and the devil will not be able to come near you till morning."

And on the authority of Ubayy Ibn Ka’b (radiallahu ‘anhu) who reported that the Prophet (sallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) said: "Abul-Mundhir! Do you know which verse of Allah’s Book is the greatest?" - Ubayy (radiallahu ‘anhu) replied: "Allah and His Messenger know best" -The Prophet (sallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) then asked "Abul Mundhir! Do you know which verse of Allah's Book is the greatest?". Ubayy Ibn Ka'b (radiallahu ‘anhu) said: "Allah! Laa ilaaha illaa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He) the Ever Living, the One Who sustains and protects all that exists. Neither slumber, nor sleep overtake Him." Thereupon the Prophet (sallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) struck me on the chest and said: "Felicitation on your knowledge, O Abul-Mundhir."

Why are so many Women converting to Islam ?


According to "The Almanac Book of Facts", the population increased 137% within the past decade, Christianity increased 46%, while Islam increased 235%.

In a recent poll in the (US), 100,000 people per year in America alone, are converting to Islam. For every 1 male convert to Islam, 4 females convert to Islam, Why?

It is Clear why Christians are converting.

One must ask a simple question here, who is
really punished, the man who raped the woman or
the woman who was raped? According to the
Bible, you have to spend the Rest of Your Life
with the man who Raped You.


The Prophet Muhammad Says {Volume 9, Book
86, Number 101****** Narrated by Aisha:" It is
essential to have the consent of a virgin (for the
marriage)".


Would the Christian men Reading this prefer the
Women they know to Be Christian or Muslim?


8. The Bible also asks Women to wear veils as in
Islam {I Corinthians 11:3-10******, this lowers the
chance of rape, (God Forbid), see statistic link

9. Women were given rights to Vote less than a
100 years ago in the (US), while the Quran (42:38) gave
Women Voting rights almost 1,500 years ago.

10. Islam has unconfined Women and has given them
the human right to reach for the sky. There have been
Muslim Women Presidents through out the centuries,
but to this date, the oppressive mentality of the
men in the Western U.S.A. has stopped any Women from becoming
Presidents in predominately Christian countries,
while the Muslim countries have voted for and
elected Female Presidents.

The Bible Denies the Divinity of Jesus

1) None of the Bible’s Writers Believed That Jesus is God:
Christians and Muslims both believe in Jesus, love him, and honor him. They are, however, divided over the question of his divinity.

Fortunately, this difference can be resolved if we refer the question to both the Bible and the Quran, because, both the Bible and the Quran teach that Jesus is not God.

It is clear enough to everyone that the Quran denies the divinity of Jesus, so we do not need to spend much time explaining that.

On the other hand, many people misunderstand the Bible; they feel that the belief in Jesus as God is so widespread that it must have come from the Bible. This article shows quite conclusively that the Bible does not teach that.

The Bible clearly teaches that Jesus is not God. In the Bible God is always someone else other than Jesus.

Some will say that something Jesus said or something he did while on the earth proves that he is God. We will show that the disciples never came to the conclusion that Jesus is God. And those are people who lived and walked with Jesus and thus knew first hand what he said and did. Furthermore, we are told in the Acts of the Apostles in the Bible that the disciples were being guided by the Holy Spirit. If Jesus is God, surely they should know it. But they did not. They kept worshipping the one true God who was worshipped by Abraham, Moses, and Jesus (see Acts 3:13).

All of the writers of the Bible believed that God was not Jesus. The idea that Jesus is God did not become part of Christian belief until after the Bible was written, and took many centuries to become part of the faith of Christians.

Matthew, Mark, and Luke, authors of the first three Gospels, believed that Jesus was not God (see Mark 10:18 and Matthew 19:17). They believed that he was the son of God in the sense of a righteous person. Many others too, are similarly called sons of God (see Matthew 23:1-9).

Paul, believed to be the author of some thirteen or fourteen letters in the Bible, also believed that Jesus is not God. For Paul, God first created Jesus, then used Jesus as the agent by which to create the rest of creation (see Colossians 1:15 and 1 Corinthians 8:6). Similar ideas are found in the letter to the Hebrews, and also in the Gospel and Letters of John composed some seventy years after Jesus. In all of these writings, however, Jesus is still a creature of God and is therefore forever subservient to God (see 1 Corinthians 15:28).

Now, because Paul, John, and the author of Hebrews believed that Jesus was God’s first creature, some of what they wrote clearly show that Jesus was a pre-existent powerful being. This is often misunderstood to mean that he must have been God. But to say that Jesus was God is to go against what these very authors wrote. Although these authors had this later belief that Jesus is greater than all creatures, they also believed that he was still lesser than God. In fact, John quotes Jesus as saying: “...the Father is greater than I.” (John 14:28). And Paul declares that the head of every woman is her husband, the head of every man is Christ, and the head of Christ is God (see 1 Corinthians 11:3).

Therefore, to find something in these writings and claim that these teach that Jesus is God is to misuse and misquote what those authors are saying. What they wrote must be understood in the context of their belief that Jesus is a creature of God as they have already clearly said.

So we see then, that some of the later writers had a higher view of Jesus, but none of the writers of the Bible believed that Jesus is God. The Bible clearly teaches that there is only one true God, the one whom Jesus worshipped (see John 17: 3).

In the rest of this article we will explore the Bible in more depth, and deal with the passages which are most often misquoted as proofs of Jesus’ divinity. We will show, with God’s help, that these do not mean what they are so often used to prove.

2) Evidence From the Acts of the Apostles:
Jesus performed many miraculous wonders, and he without doubt said a lot of wonderful things about himself. Some people use what he said and did as a proof that he was God. But his original disciples who lived and walked with him, and were eyewitnesses to what he said and did, never reached this conclusion.

The Acts of the Apostles in the Bible details the activity of the disciples over a period of thirty years after Jesus was lifted up to heaven. Throughout this period they never refer to Jesus as God. They continually and consistently use the title God to refer to someone else other than Jesus.

Peter stood up with the eleven disciples and addressed the crowd saying: “Men of Israel, listen to this: Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know.” (Acts 2:22).

It was God, therefore, who did the miracles through Jesus to convince people that Jesus was backed by God. Peter did not see the miracles as proof that Jesus is God.

In fact, the way Peter refers to God and to Jesus makes it clear that Jesus is not God. For he always turns the title God away from Jesus. Take the following references for example:

“God has raised this Jesus...” (Acts 2:32)

“God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.” (Acts 2:36)

In both passages, the title God is turned away from Jesus. So why he did this, if Jesus was God?

For Peter, Jesus was a servant of God. Peter said: “God raised up his servant...” (Acts 3:26). The title servant refers to Jesus. This is clear from a previous passage where Peter declared: “The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his servant Jesus.” (Acts 3:13).

Peter must have known that Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob never spoke of a Triune God. They always spoke of God as the only God. Here, as in Matthew 12:18, Jesus is the servant of God. Matthew tells us that Jesus was the same servant of God spoken of in Isaiah 42:1. So, according to Matthew and Peter, Jesus is not God, but God’s servant. The Old Testament repeatedly says that God is alone (e.g. Isaiah 45:5).

All of the disciples of Jesus held this view. In Acts 424 we are told that the believers prayed to God saying: “...they raised their voices together in prayer to God. ‘Sovereign Lord,’ they said, ‘you made the heaven and the earth and the sea, and everything in them.’” It is clear that the one they were praying to was not Jesus, because, two verses later, they referred to Jesus as “...your holy servant Jesus, whom you anointed.” (Acts 4:27).

If Jesus was God, his disciples should have said this clearly. Instead, they kept preaching that Jesus was God’s Christ. We are told in Acts: “Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Christ.” (Acts 5:42).

The Greek word “Christ” is a human title. It means “Anointed.” If Jesus was God, why would the disciples continually refer to him with human titles like servant and Christ of God, and consistently use the title God for the one who raised Jesus? Did they fear men? No! They boldly preached the truth fearing neither imprisonment nor death. When they faced opposition from the authorities, Peter declared: “We must obey God rather than men! The God of our fathers raised Jesus...” (Acts 5:29-30).

Were they lacking the Holy Spirit? No! They were supported by the Holy Spirit (see Acts 2:3, 4:8, and 5:32). They were simply teaching what they had learnt from Jesus — that Jesus was not God but, rather, God’s servant and Christ.

The Quran confirms that Jesus was the Messiah (Christ), and that he was God’s servant (see the Holy Quran 3:45 and 19:30).

3) Jesus is Not All-Powerful, and Not All-Knowing:
Christians and Muslims agree that God is all-powerful and all-knowing. The Gospels show that Jesus was not all-powerful, and not all-knowing, since he had some limitations.

Mark tells us in his gospel that Jesus was unable to do any powerful work in his hometown except few things: “He could not do any miracles there, except lay his hands on a few sick people and heal them.” (Mark 6:5). Mark also tells us that when Jesus tried to heal a certain blind man, the man was not healed after the first attempt, and Jesus had to try a second time (see Mark 8:22-26).

Therefore, although we hold a great love and respect for Jesus, we need to understand that he is not the all-powerful God.

Mark’s Gospel also reveals that Jesus had limitations in his knowledge. In Mark 13:32, Jesus declared that he himself does not know when the last day will occur, but the Father alone knows that (see also Matthew 24:36).

Therefore, Jesus could not have been the all-knowing God. Some will say that Jesus knew when the last day will occur, but he chose not to tell. But that complicates matters further. Jesus could have said that he knows but he does not wish to tell. Instead, he said that he does not know. We must believe him. Jesus does not lie at all.

The Gospel of Luke also reveals that Jesus had limited knowledge. Luke says that Jesus increased in wisdom (Luke 2:52). In Hebrews too (Hebrews 5:8) we read that Jesus learned obedience. But God’s knowledge and wisdom is always perfect, and God does not learn new things. He knows everything always. So, if Jesus learned something new, that proves that he did not know everything before that, and thus he was not God.

Another example for the limited knowledge of Jesus is the fig tree episode in the Gospels. Mark tells us as follows: “The next day as they were leaving Bethany, Jesus was hungry. Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to find out if it had any fruit. When he reached it, he found nothing but leaves, because it was not the season for figs.” (Mark 11:12-13).

It is clear from these verses that the knowledge of Jesus was limited on two counts. First, he did not know that the tree had no fruit until he came to it. Second, he did not know that it was not the right season to expect figs on trees.

Can he become God later? No! Because there is only one God, and He is God from everlasting to everlasting (see Psalms 90:2).

Someone may say that Jesus was God but he took the form of a servant and therefore became limited. Well, that would mean that God changed. But God does not change. God said so according to Malachi 3:6.

Jesus never was God, and never will be. In the Bible, God declares: “Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me.” (Isaiah 43:10).

The Bible clearly shows that Jesus was not all-powerful and all-knowing as the true God should be.

4) The Greatest Commandment in the Bible and the Quran:
Some will say that this whole discussion over the divinity of Jesus is unnecessary. They say, the important thing is to accept Jesus as your personal savior. On the contrary, the Bible’s writers stressed that, in order to be saved, it is necessary to understand who exactly is God. Failure to understand this would be to violate the first and greatest of all the commandments in the Bible. This commandment was emphasized by Jesus, on whom be peace, when a teacher of the Law of Moses asked him: “‘Of all the commandments, which is the most important?’ ‘The most important one,’ answered Jesus, ‘is this: Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’” (Mark 12:28-30).

Notice that Jesus was quoting the first commandment from the book of Deuteronomy 6:4-5. Jesus confirmed not only that this commandment is still valid, but also that it is the most important of all the commandments. If Jesus thought that he himself is God, why did not he say so? Instead, he stressed that God is one. The man who questioned Jesus understood this, and what the man says next makes it clear that God is not Jesus, for he said to Jesus: “‘Well said, teacher,’ the man replied. ‘You are right in saying that God is one and there is no other but him.’” (Mark 12:32).

Now if Jesus was God, he would have told the man so. Instead, he let the man refer to God as someone other than Jesus, and he even saw that the man had spoken wisely: “When Jesus saw that he had answered wisely, he said to him, ‘You are not far from the kingdom of God.’” (Mark 12:34). If Jesus knew that God is a trinity, why did not he say so? Why did not he say that God is one in three, or three in one? Instead, he declared that God is one. True imitators of Jesus will imitate him also in this declaration of God’s oneness. They will not add the word three where Jesus never said it.

Does salvation depend on this commandment? Yes, says the Bible! Jesus made this clear when another man approached Jesus to learn from him (see Mark 10:17-29). The man fell on his knees and said to Jesus: “Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” Jesus replied: “Why do you call me good? No one is good — except God alone.” (Mark 10:17-18).

By so saying, Jesus made a clear distinction between himself and God. Then he proceeded with the answer to the man’s question about how to get salvation. Jesus told him: “If you want to enter life, obey the commandments.” (Matthew 19:17, also see Mark 10:19).

Remember that the most important of all the commandments, according to Jesus, is to know God as the only God. Jesus further emphasized this in the Gospel According to John. In John 17:1, Jesus lifted his eyes to heaven and prayed, addressing God as Father. Then in verse three, he said to God as follows: “Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.” (John 17:3).

This proves beyond doubt that if people want to get eternal life they must know that the One, whom Jesus was praying to, is the only true God, and they must know that Jesus was sent by the true God. Some say that the Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Ghost is God. But Jesus said that the Father alone is the only true God. True followers of Jesus will follow him in this too. Jesus had said that his true followers are those who hold to his teachings. He said: “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples.” (John 8:31). His teaching is that people must continue to keep the commandments, especially the first commandment which emphasizes that God is alone, and that God should be loved with all our hearts and all our strengths.

We love Jesus, but we must not love him as God. Today many love Jesus more than they love God. This is because they see God as a vengeful person who wanted to exact a penalty from them, and they see Jesus as the savior who rescued them from the wrath of God. Yet God is our only savior. According to Isaiah 43:11, God said: “I, even I, am the LORD, and apart from me there is no savior.” Also God said according to Isaiah 45:21-22: “Was it not I, the LORD? And there is no God apart from me, a righteous God and a Savior; there is none but me. Turn to me and be saved, all you ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other.”

The Quran confirms the first commandment and addresses it to all humankind (see the Holy Quran 2:163). And God declares that true believers love Him more than anyone else or anything else (Quran 2:165).

5) Paul Believed That Jesus is not God:
Many people use Paul’s writings as proof that Jesus is God. But this is not fair to Paul, because Paul clearly believed that Jesus is not God. In his first letter to Timothy, Paul wrote: “I charge you, in the sight of God and Christ Jesus and the elect angels, to keep these instructions...” (1 Timothy 5:21).

It is clear from this that the title God applies not to Christ Jesus, but to someone else. In the following chapter, he again differentiates between God and Jesus when he says: “In the sight of God, who gives life to everything, and of Christ Jesus, who while testifying before Pontius Pilate made the good confession...” (1 Timothy 6:13).

Paul then went on to speak of the second appearance of Jesus: “the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, which God will bring about in his own time.” (1 Timothy 6:14-15).

Again, the title God is deliberately turned away from Jesus. Incidentally, many people think that when Jesus is called “Lord” in the Bible that this means “God.” But in the Bible this title means master or teacher, and it can be used for addressing humans (see 1 Peter 3:6).

What is more important, however, is to notice what Paul said about God in the following passage, which clearly shows that Jesus is not God: “God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be honor and might forever.” (1 Timothy 6:15-16).

Paul said that God alone is immortal. Immortal means he does not die. Check any dictionary. Now, anyone who believes that Jesus died cannot believe that Jesus is God. Such a belief would contradict what Paul said here. Furthermore, to say that God died is a blasphemy against God. Who would run the world if God died? Paul believed that God does not die.

Paul also said in that passage that God dwells in unapproachable light — that no one has seen God or can see him. Paul knew that many thousands of people had seen Jesus. Yet Paul said that no one has seen God, because Paul was sure that Jesus is not God. This is why Paul went on teaching that Jesus was not God, but that he was the Christ (see Acts 9:22 and 18:5).

When he was in Athens, Paul spoke of God as “The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by hands.” (Acts 17). Then he identified Jesus as “the man he (i.e. God) has appointed.” (Acts 17:31).

Clearly, for Paul, Jesus was not God, and he would be shocked to see his writings used for proving the opposite of what he believed. Paul even testified in court saying: “I admit that I worship the God of our fathers...” (Acts 24:14).

He also said that Jesus is the servant of that God, for we read in Acts: “The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his servant Jesus.” (Acts 3:13).

For Paul, the Father alone is God. Paul said that there is “one God and Father of all...” (Ephesians 4:6). Paul said again: “...for us there is but one God, the Father . . . and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ...” (1 Corinthians 8:6).

Paul’s letter to the Philippians (Philippians 2:6-11) is often quoted as a proof that Jesus is God. But the very passage shows that Jesus is not God. This passage has to agree with Isaiah 45:22-24 where God said that every knee should bow to God, and every tongue should confess that righteousness and strength are in God alone. Paul was aware of this passage, for he quoted it in Romans 14:11. Knowing this, Paul declared: “I kneel before the Father.” (Ephesians 3:14).

The letter to the Hebrews (Hebrews 1:6) says that the angels of God should worship the Son. But this passage depends on Deuteronomy 32:43, in the Septuagint version of the Old Testament. This phrase cannot be found in the Old Testament used by Christians today, and the Septuagint version is no longer considered valid by Christians. However, even the Septuagint version, does not say worship the Son. It says let the Angels of God worship God. The Bible insists that God alone is to be worshipped: “When the LORD made a covenant with the Israelites, he commanded them: ‘Do not worship any other gods or bow down to them, serve them or sacrifice to them. But the LORD, who brought you up out of Egypt with mighty power and outstretched arm, is the one you must worship. To him you shall bow down and to him offer sacrifices. You must always be careful to keep the decrees and ordinances, the laws and commands he wrote for you. Do not worship other gods. Do not forget the covenant I have made with you, and do not worship other gods. Rather, worship the LORD your God; it is he who will deliver you from the hand of all your enemies.’” (2 Kings 17:35-39).

Jesus, on whom be peace, believed in this, for he also stressed it in Luke 4:8. And Jesus too fell on his face and worshipped God (see Matthew 26:39). Paul knew that Jesus worshipped God (see Hebrews 5:7). Paul taught that Jesus will remain forever subservient to God (see 1 Corinthians 15:28).

6) Evidence from the Gospel of John:
The Gospel of John, the fourth Gospel, was completed to its present form some seventy years after Jesus was raised up to heaven. This Gospel in its final form says one more thing about Jesus that was unknown from the previous three Gospels — that Jesus was the Word of God. John means that Jesus was God’s agent through whom God created everything else. This is often misunderstood to mean that Jesus was God Himself. But John was saying, as Paul had already said, that Jesus was God’s first creature. In the Book of Revelation in the Bible, we find that Jesus is: “the beginning of God’s creation” (Revelation 3:14, also see 1 Corinthians 8:6 and Colossians 1:15).

Anyone who says that the Word of God is a person distinct from God must also admit that the Word was created, for the Word speaks in the Bible saying: “The LORD brought me forth as the first of his works...” (Proverbs 8:22).

This Gospel, nevertheless, clearly teaches that Jesus is not God. If it did not continue this teaching, then it would contradict the other three Gospels and also the letters of Paul from which it is clearly established that Jesus is not God. We find here that Jesus was not co-equal with the Father, for Jesus said: “...the Father is greater than I.” (John 14:28).

People forget this and they say that Jesus is equal to the Father. Whom should we believe — Jesus or the people? Muslims and Christians agree that God is self-existent. This means that He does not derive his existence from anyone. Yet John tells us that Jesus’ existence is caused by the Father. Jesus said in this Gospel: “...I live because of the Father...” (John 6:57).

John tells us that Jesus cannot do anything by his own when he quotes Jesus as saying: “By myself I can do nothing...” (John 5:30). This agrees with what we learn about Jesus from other Gospels. In Mark, for example, we learn that Jesus performed miracles by a power which was not within his control. This is especially clear from an episode in which a woman is healed of her incurable bleeding. The woman came up behind him and touched his cloak, and she was immediately healed. But Jesus had no idea who touched him. Mark describes Jesus’ actions thus: “At once Jesus realized that power had gone out from him. He turned around in the crowd and asked, ‘Who touched my clothes?’” (Mark 5:30). His disciples could not provide a satisfactory answer, so Mark tells us: “Jesus kept looking around to see who had done it.” (Mark 5:32). This shows that the power that healed the woman was not within Jesus’ control. He knew that the power had gone out of him, but he did not know where it went. Some other intelligent being had to guide that power to the woman who needed to be healed. God was that intelligent being.

It is no wonder, then, that in Acts of the Apostles we read that it was God who did the miracles through Jesus (Acts 2:22).

God did extraordinary miracles through others too, but that does not make the others God (see Acts 19:11). Why, then, is Jesus taken for God? Even when Jesus raised his friend Lazarus from the dead, he had to ask God to do it. Lazarus’ sister, Martha, knew this, for she said to Jesus: “I know that even now God will give you whatever you ask.” (John 11:22).

Martha knew that Jesus was not God, and John who reported this with approval knew it also. Jesus had a God, for when he was about to ascend to heaven, he said: “I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.” (John 20:17).

John was sure that no one had seen God, although he knew that many people had seen Jesus (see John 1:18 and 1 John 4:12). In fact Jesus himself told the crowds, that they have never seen the Father, nor have they heard the Father’s voice (John 5:37). Notice that if Jesus was the Father, his statement here would be false. Who is the only God in John’s Gospel? The Father alone.

Jesus testified this when he declared that the God of the Jews is the Father (John 8:54). Jesus too confirmed that the Father alone is the only true God (see John 17:1-3). And Jesus said to his enemies: “...you are determined to kill me, a man who has told you the truth that I heard from God.” (John 8:40). According to John, therefore, Jesus was not God, and nothing John wrote should be taken as proof that he was God — unless one wishes to disagree with John.

7) God and Jesus Are Two Separate Beings:
Many people use certain verses of the Bible as proof that Jesus is God. However, all of these verses, when understood in context, prove the opposite!

For example, in Matthew 9:2, Jesus said to a certain man, “Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven.” Because of this, some say that Jesus must be God since only God can forgive sins. However, if you are willing to read just a few verses further, you will find that the people “...praised God, who had given such authority to men.” (Matthew 9:8). This shows that the people knew, and Matthew agrees, that Jesus is not the only man to receive such authority from God.

Jesus himself emphasized that he does not speak on his own authority (John 14:10) and he does nothing on his own authority, but he speaks only what the Father has taught him (John 8:28). What Jesus did here was as follows. Jesus announced to the man the knowledge Jesus received from God that God had forgiven the man.

Notice that Jesus did not say, “I forgive your sins,” but rather, “your sins are forgiven,” implying, as this would to his Jewish listeners, that God had forgiven the man. Jesus, then, did not have the power to forgive sins, and in that very episode he called himself “the Son of Man” (Matthew 9:6).

John 10:30 is often used as proof that Jesus is God because Jesus said, “I and the father are one.” But, if you read the next six verses, you will find Jesus explaining that his enemies were wrong to think that he was claiming to be God. What Jesus obviously means here is that he is one with the Father in purpose. Jesus also prayed that his disciples should be one just as Jesus and the Father are one. Obviously, he was not praying that all his disciples should somehow merge into one individual (see John 17:11 and 22). And when Luke reports that the disciples were all one, Luke does not mean that they became one single human being, but that they shared a common purpose although they were separate beings (see Acts 4:32). In terms of essence, Jesus and the Father are two, for Jesus said they are two witnesses (John 8:14-18). They have to be two, since one is greater than the other (see John 14:28). When Jesus prayed to be saved from the cross, he said: “Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.” (Luke 22:42).

This shows that they had two separate wills, although Jesus submitted his will to the will of the Father. Two wills mean two separate individuals.

Furthermore, Jesus is reported to have said: “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” (Matthew 27:46). If one of them forsook the other, then they must be two separate entities.

Again, Jesus is reported to have said: “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.” (Luke 23:46). If the spirit of one can be placed into the hands of another, they must be two separate beings.

In all of these instances, Jesus is clearly subordinate to the Father. When Jesus knelt down and prayed he obviously was not praying to himself (see Luke 22:41). He was praying to his God.

Throughout the New Testament, the Father alone is called God. In fact, the titles “Father” and “God” are used to designate one individual, not three, and never Jesus. This is also clear from the fact that Matthew substituted the title “Father” in the place of the title “God” in at least two places in his Gospel (compare Matthew 10:29 with Luke 12:6, and Matthew 12:50 with Mark 3:35). If Matthew is right in doing so, then the Father alone is God.

Was Jesus the Father? No! Because Jesus said: “And do not call anyone on earth ‘father,’ for you have one Father, and he is in heaven.” (Matthew 23:9). So Jesus is not the Father, since Jesus was standing on the earth when he said this.

The Quran seeks to bring people back to the true faith that was taught by Jesus, and by his true disciples who continued in his teaching. That teaching emphasized a continued commitment to the first commandment that God is alone. In the Quran, God directs Muslims to call readers of the Bible back to that true faith. God have said in the Quran:

Say: “O people of the Book (Christians and Jews)! Come to a word that is just between us and you: that we shall worship none but God, and that we shall associate no partners with Him, and that none of us shall take others as lords beside God.” (Quran, 3:64)

50.000 اخطاء في الانجيل

En ung man i USA skaffade sig nyligen ett exemplar av den engelska bibelöversättningen Konung Jakobs bibel i den tron att det inte fanns några fel i den. När han så en dag bläddrade igenom ett gammalt nummer av bildtidningen Look, fick han syn på en artikel med rubriken "Sanningen om bibeln", där det bland annat stod att redan år 1720 menade en engelsk auktoritet att det fanns åtminstone 20.000 fel i de två utgåvorna av Nya testamentet som vanligen läses av protestanter och katoliker. Bibelforskare i vår tid menar att felen förmodligen uppgår till 50.000."Den unge mannen fick en chock. Hans tro på bibelns tillförlitlighet hade rubbats. "Hur kan bibeln vara trovärdig, om den innehåller tusentals grova motsägelser och fel?" undrar han.

Vi måste ha klart för oss, att författarens avsikt med att lägga fram stoffet i artikeln i Look för den 26 februari 1952 var att visa varför de lärda har intensifierat den kritiska granskningen av gamla handskrifter. Hans artikel handlar alltså egentlligen om de fel som har smugit sig in i texten och inte om bibelns tillförlitlighet över huvud taget. Han anför de grövsta felaktigheterna, och när han så säger att en del forskare anser att Konung Jakobs bibel innehåller 50.000 fel, ger han läsaren det intrycket, att 50.000 sådana grova fel finns i bibeln, och detta är naturligtvis inte alls sant. De flesta av dessa så kallade fel har rättats till av nutida översättare. De återstående felen är av ytterst ringa betydelse (?) och inverkar endast mycket oväsentligt (Gör det verkligen inte det?) på den bibliska textens äkthet.

Artikeln börjar med en fråga: "Hur exakt är den bibel vi nu har att läsa? Författaren säger emellertid ingenting i hela artikeln till svar på frågan. Men om han hade gjort det, hade han måst säga att bibeln som helhet är exakt, sann och autentisk, äkta.

Men hur är det med en del andra saker, som artikeln omnämner, sådana som "Fanns det verkligen på Jesu tid en äktenskapsbryterska, vars anklagare strängt tilltalades med orden: "Den av eder, som är utan synd, han kaste första stenen på henne"...? Sade Jesus verkligen: "Gån ut i hela världen och prediken evangelium..." eller: "Den som tror och bliver döpt, han skall bliva frälst"...? Skrev Johannes själv de ord, som hänsyftar på den heliga treenigheten och som tillskrivs honom? På grundval av de upplysningar, som vår tids lärda vunnit, är troligen svaret på var och en av dessa frågor "Nej". Ochså på denna punkt har artikelförfattaren, Hartzell Spence, edast delvis rätt.

Det avsnitt som innehåller orden "Den av eder, som är utan synd, han kan kaste första stenen på henne" återfinns inte i flera av de äldre handskrifterna av bibeln. Nya Världens översättning av biblen utesluter de elva första verserna av Johannes åttonde kapitel ur den egentliga texten. De återges i en fotnot, som anger att den sinaitiska handskriften, Vatikanhandskriften nr 1209 och den handskrift som benämns Sinaisyrern inte innehåller dessa verser. Vi får inte glömma, att den sinaitiska handskriften och Vatikanhandskriften nr 1209 är två av de äldsta handskrifter som finns; de härstammar båda från 300-talet. De nämnda verserna återfinns i Beza-handskriften från 500-talet, den latinska Vulgata från 300- och 400-talen och den syropalestinensika översättningen från 500-talet. Men eftersom de äldsta grekiska handskrifterna inte innehåller dessa verser, är deras ursprung tvivelaktigt. - Joh. 8:7.

Ochså så till nästa fråga: "Sade Jesus verkligen: "Gån ut i hela världen och predika evangelium?" Författaren har här citerat från de tolv sista verserna i Markus 16, vilkas äkthet länge varit omtvistad. Nya Världens översättning utesluter dessa sista verser ur den egentliga texten. Den visar att vissa gamla handskrifter. på orginalspråket eller översättningar, av bibeln har en lång avslutning, men att den sinaitiska handskriften, Vatikanhandskriften nr 1209, Sinaisyrern och den armeniska översättningen, från 300- och 400-talen, inte innehåller dessa verser, och därför är deras äkthet tvivelaktig.

Författaren ger läsaren det intrycket, att de goda nyheterna eller evangeliet inte skall predikas, därför att den bibelvers som ger denna uppmaning inte är äkta. Men på flera andra ställen i Guds ord ges samma uppmaning, och dessa ställens äkthet är oomtvistad. Vi har till exempel Matteus 24:14: "Och detta evangelium om riket skall bliva predikat i hela världen till ett vittnesbörd för alla folk. Och sedan änden komma." Likaså bjuder Jesus i Matteus 28:19: "Gån fördenskull ut och gören alla folk till lärjungar, döpande dem." Andra skriftställen, förutom detta tvivelaktiga hos Markus, bevisar alltså att Kristi efterföljare skall predika och döpa.

Och hur är det med det "Skrev Johannes själv de ord, som hänsyftar på den heliga treenigheten och som tillskrivs honom?" Det ställe i bibeln som avses är 1 Johannes 5:7, 8. I sina kommentarer till dessa verser säger en översättare av de grekiska skrifterna, Benjamin Wilson, i sin översättning till engelska, The Emphatic Diaglott: "Detta ställe beträffande det himmelska vittnesbördet finns inte i någon grekisk handskrift som skrivits tidigare än på 1400-talet (den heliga Koranen fördömde det för 1400 år sedan). Det citeras inte av någon av de grekiska kyrkliga skriftställarna och inte heller av någon av de tidiga latinska kyrkofäderna, inte ens när de ämnen, som de avhandlade, helt naturligt skulle ha lett dem till att vädja till dess auktoritet. Det är därför tydligtvis oäkta." Sannfärdigheten i detta påstående bestyrks av det förhållandet, att de nutida översättningarna (utom romersk-katolska översättningar som bygger på den latinska översättningen) inte upptar denna passus.

En utomordentlig viktig sak är att de flesta nutida översättningar redan har avlägsnat de fel som artikelförfattaren nämner. Lägg märke till att han säger att de 20.000-50.000 felen finns i de två utgåvorna av Nya testamentet som vanligen läses av protestanter och katoliker". Detta måste avse Konung Jakobs bibel och den katolske Douayöversättningen, vilka utkom respektive år 1611 och år 1600. De är alltså båda mer än 300 år gamla.

När dessa översättningar gjordes, förstod man inte koine-grekiskan, det språk som bibeln skrevs på, så bra som man gör nu. Översättarna gjorde därför fel vid översättningen, vilka har rättats av nutida översättningen. Arkeologerna har ochså bidragit till bibelforskningen, eftersom de har hittat många mycket gamla handskrifter av bibeln.

Felen i bibeln har avlägsnats därhän, att de återstående mindre felaktigheterna är mycket oväsentliga (?). Sir Fredric G. Kenyon, en framstående engelsk lärd, har i sin bok The Bible and Archaeology, sid 288, 289, följande att säga: "Den period som ligger mellan de tidpunkter då dessa skrifter först (?) blev till och de äldsta handskrifter vi nu har av dem blir följaktligen så kort, att den i själva verket kan lämnas utan avseende, och den sista grunden till någon tvivel på att Skriften har levat kvar till vår tid i huvudak sådan som den en gång skrevs har nu avlägsnats."

Bibeln är tillförlitlig, och utom allt tvivel (Läs boken "Is the Bible God's word? skriven av Ahmed Deedat) är den Guds ord.

مقارنة بين المراة الغربية والمراة الشرقية المسلمة

Muslimsk feminist granskar väst

Fatima Mernissi ifrågasätter i sin nya bok vem som är mest frigjord: en muslimsk kvinna i slöja eller en 45-årig västerländsk kvinna som svälter sig för att vara lika slank som ett barn?

Vad händer när Shahrazad, sagoberätterskan i "Tusen och en natt", reser västerut? Den marockanska sociologen och feministen Fatima Mernissi menar att allt som återstår av denna enastående, insiktsfulla och kvicktänkta sagoberätterska i den västerländska tappningen är yta och kropp.

I öst hyllas Shahrazad för sin berättarkonst, sina politiska och filosofiska insikter. Hon bevisar att kvinnor genom att skaffa sig kunskap kan göra uppror och samtidigt befria männen från sitt "narcissistiska behov av enkelspårig likriktning" som Mernissi uttrycker det. Om Shahrazad hade förfört kungen med dans och vackra kläder hade hon avrättats som så många fruar före henne.

I sin bok "Shahrazad reser västerut", som kommer ut i slutet av augusti, ifrågasätter Fatima Mernissi vem som är mest frigjord: en muslimsk kvinna i slöja eller en 45-årig västerländsk kvinna som svälter sig för att vara slank som ett barn?

Fatima Mernissi är en muslimsk feminist, hon sneglar inte västerut utan går tillbaka till de muslimska källorna för att hitta argument och utveckla sina feministiska tankegångar. Kvinnoförtrycket i muslimska länder i dag har inget med profeten Muhammed att göra. Fanatiska män har kidnappat religionen för sina egna syften menar författaren:

- Profeten gjorde inte kvinnorna illa, han höjde aldrig rösten eller handen mot en kvinna. Han stoppade våldet mot kvinnorna, säger Mernissi på telefon från sitt sommarhus vid Marockos Atlantkust.

- Jag tror inte att det är lätt att vara kvinna vare sig i öst eller väst. Men ingen här i Marocko förväntar sig att en kvinna är dum, tvärtom tar de det för givet att du är intelligentare än de själva. Det finns procentuellt fler kvinnor vid universiteten i den muslimska världen i dag än i väst, säger hon och hänvisar till undersökningar som Unesco har gjort.

- Här i öst finns det ingen intellektuell diskriminering. Kvinnor anses ha samma intellektuella förmåga som män.

- De västerländska männen har bestämt att de har monopol på intellektuellt tänkande och att kvinnor bara är en kropp. Det här är ett västerländskt problem. Immanuel Kant gjorde åtskillnad mellan förnuft och kropp. Förnuftet är mannen och kroppen är kvinnan.

I sin nya bok ikläder hon sig rollen som en resenär i Västerlandet. Hon upptäcker väst såsom kvinnliga resenärer förr upptäckte Orienten. Bokens huvudtema är "det andra" - i det här fallet västerländska män och deras relationer till kvinnor. Det Mernissi inte förstår är varför västerländska män ler när hon säger att hon tillbringade sina första år i ett harem.

Den klassiska bilden i väst är ett hus fullt med nakna eller halvklädda kvinnor, lättjefulla haremsvarelser. Myten om haremet har etsat sig fast tack vare västerländska tolkningar av böcker som "Tusen och en natt", Hollywoods "tutt- och sandfilmer" eller avklädda haremsmålningar.

Hennes manliga guider i Europa avslöjar att de också längtar efter ett harem. Hennes franska vän Jacques svärmar för Jean Auguste Dominique Ingres yppiga odalisker. I hans tavla "Det turkiska badet" (1862) tittar nakna och drömska kvinnor ut i intet och fixerar blicken långt bort i horisonten.

I Västerlandets bild av haremet finns inget hot, ingen avundsjuka, inga intriger, sexkrig, utrymmesbrist eller för den delen kvinnor som förvrider huvudet på sina män. Det är framför allt avsaknaden av hot som fascinerar Fatima Mernissi. Hennes harem är fullt av konflikter och svartsjuka.

Fatima Mernissi kallar det ironiskt att medan de västerländska männen drömmer om lättjefulla och passiva haremsvarelser så fantiserar muslimska män om självsäkra, viljestarka och okontrollerbara kvinnor. I den muslimska litteraturen eller måleriet är kvinnorna aktiva. I gamla miniatyrmålningar har kvinnor dragit ut på jakt eller spelar hästpolo. I den persiska berättelsen "Shirin och Khosrou" rider prinsessan ensam i flera hundra mil för att hitta sin älskade.

- Om män känner att de behöver stänga in oss beror det på att de är rädda. Män fruktar oss av en speciell anledning: Blunda och föreställ dig att du är född av en man, föreställ dig det! Det är svårt, eller hur? Män är födda av kvinnor, det sätter kvinnan i en viktig maktposition, men vi erkänner inte den.

- I öst använder männen rummet för att kontrollera kvinnorna. Männen delar upp rummet i en privat del och en offentlig. Männen har bestämt att kvinnorna bara har tillträde till den privata sfären medan männen har tillträde till båda. Slöjan är ett sätt att kontrollera kvinnan utanför hemmet.

De västerländska männens bild av de orientaliska kvinnorna har liten verklighetsförankring, men den säger desto mer om den västerländska drömkvinnan, upptäcker Fatima Mernissi under sin resa i tid och rum.

På 1930-talet när muslimska kvinnor fick rätt att studera vid universitetet, att utbilda sig till advokater och piloter, och kunde gå ut utan slöja fortsatte konstnärer som Matisse att måla passiva haremsdamer.

Men harem är inte något typiskt muslimskt fenomen, konstaterar Fatima Mernissi. Hon berättar hur hon tvingades gå tomhänt från ett varuhus som bara säljer märkeskläder när hon var på besök i USA. Det fanns ingen kjol i hennes storlek.

- Kvinnorna måste alltid vara unga i väst. Det är därför den största damstorleken på de här varuhusen är sex, som egentligen är en barnstorlek. Kvinnan tillåts inte att bli vuxen. Om du är över 40 år så har du breda höfter och stora bröst. Men det är förbjudet i väst, kvinnorna har inte rätt att utvecklas och bli vuxna utan ska ha små beniga barnkroppar.

I väst använder männen tiden för att kontrollera kvinnorna. Det är män som kontrollerar modeföretagen och reklambranschen och de i sin tur definierar ramarna för västvärldens harem. För Fatima Mernissi är storlek sex ett av de värsta tänkbara straffen för en kvinna

ISUS CHRISTOS - PACEA LUI ALLAH ASUPRA LUI! -

IN CORANUL CEL SFANT

Unicitatea lui Allah este crezul lui Isus: Daca urmarim versetele Coranului cel sfant care il mentioneaza pe Isus Christos - pacea asupra lui - si pe religia sa! constatam ca Coranul stabileste ca unicitatea deplina este crezul lui Christos; unicitatea in ceea ce priveste adorarea unui singur Dumnezeu, in ceea ce priveste creatia, caci numai Allah este creatorul cerului si al pamantului si al celor dintre ele, fara nici un asociat la aceasta unicitate, in ceea ce priveste esenta si calitatile, caci esenta Sa nu este compusa, iar calitatile Sale nu au seaman, iar El se situeaza mai presus de tata si fiu. Allah Preainaltul a grait in aceasta privin "O, voi oameni ai Cartii! nu exagerati in privinta religiei voastre si nu spuneti despre Allah alta decat numai adevarul! Mesia Isus, fiul Mariei, este trimisul lui Allah, cuvantul Sau pe care El l-a transmis Mariei si un duh de la El. Credeti, asadar, in Allah si in trimisii Sai! Si nu spuneti "Trei!" Opriti-va, de la aceasta si va fi mai bine pentru voi! Allah nu este decat un Dumnezeu unic! El este prea inalt pentru a avea un fiu! Ale lui Allah sunt cele din ceruri si de pre pamant si Allah este cel mai bun Protector!" (4, Surat An-Nisa. : 171).

Si a mai grait Allah Preainaltul: "Necredinciosi sunt aceia care zic: "Dumnezeu este Mesia, fiul Mariei". Spune: "Cine L-ar putea impiedica pe Allah daca ar voi sa-i faca sa piara pe Mesia, fiul Mariei, ca si pe mama lui si pe toti care se afla pe pamant?" (5, Surat Al-Ma. ida: 17).

Aceste texte coranice fac cunoscut faptul ca Isus este un om pe care Allah l-a ales pentru a fi profet si trimis. Allah i-a pogorat lui Isus Christos scriptura care este Evanghelia, pentru a intari prin ea Tora, pentru a o intregi pe ea si pentru a vesti un trimis cu numele de Ahmad care va veni dupa el, adica pe trimisul Muhammad, si pentru a cuprinde calauzirea dreptcredinciosilor pe calea cea dreapta. Allah Preainaltul a grait: "Si [adu-ti aminte] cand Isus, fiul Mariei, a zis: O, fii ai lui Israel! Eu sunt trimisul lui Allah la voi, intarind Tora de dinainte de mine si vestind un trimis ce va veni dupa mine si al carui nume este Ahmad!" (61, Surat As-Saff: 6).

Chemarea lui Isus Christos - asa dupa cum afirma istoricii - a fost o chemare la viata spirituala bazata pe cumpatare si pe luarea din viata lumeasca doar a ceea ce este strict necesar pentru vietuire. Isus Christos indeamna la credinta in Allah si in Ziua de Apoi, la considerarea Vietii de Apoi ca fiind supremul tel al omului in aceasta lume.

Nasterea lui Isus Christos:

Allah Preainaltul a aratat in Coran ca profetul Isus este unul din robii Sai, l-a creat si i-a dat chip in pantecele mamei sale, asa cum a dat chip si celorlalte fapturi, si ca l-a creat fara sa aiba un tata, dupa cum l-a creat pe Adam fara sa aiba tata si nici mama. Allah l-a creat rostind cuvantul Lui: "Fii". Totodata, el se refera la originea si nasterea mamei sale si la felul cum l-a purtat pe el in pantecul sau. Allah Preainaltul a grait: "Allah i-a ales pe Adam, pe Noe, familia lui Ibrahim si familia lui Imram peste toate lumile [din vremea lor], / Ca scoboratori unii din altii. Allah este Cel care Aude Totul si este Atoatestiutor. / [Adu-ti aminte] cand muierea lui Imram a zis: "Doamne, Iti juruiesc [numai] Tie ceea ce este in pantecul meu, devotat numai Tie! Primeste-l de la mine. Tu esti Cel care Aude Totul si Atoatestiutor!". / Si cand a nascut-o, a zis ea: "Doamne, am zamislit o copila!", dar Allah stia bine ceea ce nascuse ea. Si un baiat nu este intocmai ca o copila! "Eu i-am pus numele Maria si o incredintez pe ea si pe scoboratorii ei ocrotirii Tale, impotriva lui Seitan cel izgonit!". / Domnul ei a acceptat-o cu buna primire si a lasat-o sa creasca cu buna crestere si a incredintat-o lui Zaharia. Si de fiecare data cand intra Zaharia la ea in templu, gasea langa ea mancare. Si a intrebat-o el: "O, Maria, de unde ai aceasta?" Iar ea ii raspundea: "Ea este de la Allah!" Allah il hraneste pe cel pe care El voieste, fara socoteala! / Atunci Zaharia s-a rugat Domnului sau, zicand: "Doamne, daruieste-mi mie de la Tine vlastare alese, caci Tu esti Cel care Aude ruga!". / Atunci, l-au chemat ingerii, in vreme cel el se ruga, stand in picioare, in templu [zicandu-i]: "Iata ca Allah ti-l vesteste pe Yahya, care va intari un cuvant al lui Allah. [Si el va fi] un barbat nobil, neprihanit, un profet dintre cei evlaviosi". / El a zis: "Doamne, cum sa am eu un baiat, cand m-au ajuns batranetile, iar muierea mea este stearpa?" Si i-a raspuns [Allah]: "Asa!" Allah face ceea ce voieste! / A zis [Zaharia]: "Doamne, da-mi mie un semn!". I-a raspuns [Allah]: "Semnul tau va fi ca nu vei putea vorbi cu oamenii vreme de trei zile decat prin semne! Pomeneste-L pe Domnul tau mereu si lauda-L pe El seara si dimineata!". / [Adu-ti aminte] cand ingerii au zis: "O, Maria! Allah te-a ales si te-a facut curata. El te-a ales peste femeile lumilor! / O, Maria! Fii cu ascultare fata de Stapanul tau, prosterneaza-te si pleaca-te, rugandu-te impreuna cu cei ce se pleaca!" / Acestea sunt dintre vestile necunoscutului pe care Noi ti le revelam. Tu nu ai fost langa ei, cand ei au aruncat calemurile lor [pentru a hotari] care dintre ei s-o ocroteasca pe Maria si nu ai fost langa ei nici cand ei au avut discutia. / [Adu-ti aminte] cand ingerii au zis: "O, Maria! Allah iti vesteste [un copil ce vine cu] un cuvant din partea Lui: numele lui va fi Al-Masih, Isa, fiul Mariei, maret in aceasta lume ca si in lumea de Apoi si unul dintre cei mai apropiati [de Allah]. / El le va vorbi oamenilor [inca] din leagan, la fel si cand va fi barbat intre doua varste, si va fi dintre cei evlaviosi". / Ea a zis: "Doamne, cum sa am un copil fara sa ma fi atins un barbat?" I-a raspuns El: "Intocmai asa!" Allah creaza ceea ce voieste El. Cand El hotaraste un lucru, El spune doar "Fii" si el este de indata! / Si El il va invata scriptura si intelepciunea, Tora si Evanghelia. / Si [El va fi] trimis la fiii lui Israel [si le va zice]: "Eu vin la voi cu semn de la Domnul vostru! Eu plamadesc pentru voi din lut ca un chip de pasare si suflu asupra sa si se va face o pasare vie, cu voia lui Allah. Si-i voi tamadui pe orb si pe lepros si-i voi invia pe morti, cu voia lui Allah. Eu va voi vesti ceea ce mancati si ceea ce pastrati in casele voastre. In aceasta este un semn pentru voi, daca voi sunteti credinciosi! / Eu intaresc ceea ce a fost revelat in Tora mai inainte de mine si va voi ingadui o parte din cele ce v-au fost oprite. Eu v-am adus semne de la Domnul vostru, deci fiti cu frica de Allah si dati-mi ascultare! / Allah este Stapanul meu si Stapanul vostru. Asadar, adorati-L pe El! Aceasta este o cale dreapta!" / Apoi, cand Isus a simtit necredinta lor, le-a zis: "Cine sunt sprijinitorii mei [in chemarea] la Allah?" Apostolii au raspuns: "Noi suntem sprijinitorii [religiei] lui Allah! Noi credem in Allah si fa marturie ca noi [lui Allah] Ii suntem supusi! (3, Surat Al . Imran: 33-52).

. Imran, tatal Mariei, a fost un barbat de seama printre invatatii din fiii lui Israel si sotia lui era stearpa, nu i-a adus nici un copil. Atunci ea a cautat ajutor la Allah si L-a implorat pe El cu supunere si s-a legat prin juramant ca daca va avea parte de un fiu, I-l va darui Lui sa-I fie slujitor la templul din Ierusalim. Allah i-a raspuns cererii si ea a ramas grea si a adus pe lume o fetita, dar fetele - conform obiceiului lor - nu erau potrivite sa slujeasca la temple. Si i-a dat ei numele Maria si L-a rugat pe Allah sa o pazeasca pe ea si sa o primeasca. Allah Preaslavitul a primit darul ei si a fost multumit ca prin fiica ei si-a dovedit credinta fata de juramantul facut.

. Imran, tatal Mariei, a murit pe cand fiica lui era inca mica si avea nevoie de cineva care sa o hraneasca si sa se ocupe de cresterea ei. Cand mama ei a oferit-o preotilor templului din Ierusalim, acestia s-au intrecut care dintre ei sa-i fie tutore si a trebuit sa traga la sorti pentru a-l alege pe cel caruia ii va fi incredintata. Si astfel i-a devenit tutore Zaharia, sotul matusii ei, care a indrumat-o catre adorarea dreapta pana ce, intr-o zi, a observat un lucru ciudat: de fiecare data cand intra la ea, in locul de rugaciune, gasea langa ea hrana de care ea avea nevoie. A intrebat-o de unde are aceasta hrana, iar ea i-a raspuns: Este de la Allah, care hraneste pe cine voieste El, fara socoteala.

Fecioara Maria a crescut neprihanita, in adorare si cucernicie, fiind pregatita pentru fapta mare pentru care Allah a ales-o si ingerii au vestit-o despre alegerea lui Allah, asa dupa cum a grait Allah Preainaltul: "[Adu-ti aminte] cand ingerii au zis: "O, Maria! Allah te-a ales si te-a facut curata.. El te-a ales peste femeile lumilor / O, Maria! Fii cu ascultare fata de Stapanul tau, prosterneaza-te si pleaca-te, rugandu-te impreuna cu cei ce se pleaca!" (3, Surat Al-. Imran: 42-43).

Allah a ales-o pe ea ca sa fie mama aceluia care se va naste fara sa existe motivele obisnuite pentru aceasta, pentru a deveni minunea lui Allah vestita, invingand indoiala celor neincrezatori si retezand limba mincinosilor. Intr-un hadis se spune ca profetul Muhammad a zis: "Cele mai virtuoase dintre femeile care salasluiesc in Rai sunt patru: Khadija - fiica lui Khuwaylid, Fatima - fiica lui Muhammad, Maria - fiica lui . Imran si Asiya - fiica lui Muzahim si sotia lui Faraon.

Cand Zaharia - care a fost un profet - a vazut binefacerile trimise de Allah asupra Mariei, a dorit sa aiba si el un fiu, cu toate ca el era foarte batran si s-a rugat lui Alla "A zis: "Doamne, daruieste-mi mie de la Tine vlastare bune, caci Tu esti Cel care Aude ruga!" (3, Surat Al-'Imran: 38).

Si Allah i l-a daruit pe [Yahya] Ioan - pacea asupra lui! - si l-a facut si pe el profet.

Vestea cea buna pe care Gavriil a adus-o Mariei:

Cand a devenit femeie, Maria a vazut o data, pe cand statea in singuratatea ei, o imagine de care s-a speriat: a vazut un barbat apropiindu-se de ea si i-a fost teama sa nu-i pricinuiasca un rau si a cerut aparare de la Allah impotriva lui. Dar el i-a spus ca este ingerul Gavriil si ca l-a trimis Allah pentru a-i vesti ca va avea parte de un prunc curat. S-a minunat si a refuzat sa creada ca ar putea avea un prunc de vreme ce nu are un sot si nu este nici tarfa. Dar Gavriil - pacea asupra lui! - i-a spus ca Allah este cu putere peste toate. Iata ce relateaza Coranul in legatura cu aceasta intamplare: "Pomeneste in Carte [Coranul] si de Maria, cand ea s-a retras de la neamul ei intr-un loc spre rasarit / Si a pus intre ea si intre ei un val! Si atunci am trimis la ea Duhul Nostru, care i s-a aratat cu infatisarea unui om adevarat. / A zis ea: "Caut aparare la Cel Milostiv fata de tine! Daca tu esti cuvios, [nu te apropia de mine]!" / I-a raspuns el: "Eu sunt numai un trimis al Domnului tau, ca sa-ti vestesc un prunc curat!" / Insa ea a zis: "Cum sa am eu un prunc, daca nu m-a atins nici un barbat si nici tarfa nu sunt?" / I-a raspuns el: "Asa este! Dar Domnul tau a zis: "Aceasta pentru Mine-i [un lucru] usor! Si-l vom face Noi un semn pentru oameni si o indurare din partea Noastra! Acesta-i un lucru [de mult] hotarat!" (19, Surat Maryam: 16-21).

Gavriil i-a vestit printre altele ca fiul ei se va numi Mesia Isus, fiul Mariei, si ca el va avea mare faima, atat in aceasta lume, cat si in Lumea de Apoi, si ca el va fi dintre cei apropiati de Allah, ca le va vorbi oamenilor atat atunci cand se va afla in leagan, cat si atunci cand va fi barbat in toata firea, ca Allah il va invata pe el cartea, intelepciunea si Tora si-i va darui lui Evanghelia, ca il va face pe el sa se nasca fara sa aiba un tata, astfel incat sa fie un semn pentru lume.

Nasterea lui Isus - Pacea asupra lui! -

Maria a ramas grea din clipa cand Gavriil i-a adus vestea cea buna, din porunca lui Allah Preainaltul. Si a grait Allah Preainaltul: "Inaintea lui Allah, Isus este asemenea lui Adam, pe care El l-a facut din lut, si apoi i-a zis lui "Fii!" si el a fost" (3, Surat Al . Imran: 59).

Maria a ramas descumpanita, cugetand la cele auzite de la Gavriil. Fara indoiala ca ea se gandea la ceea ce vor spune oamenii despre o fecioara care ramane grea si aduce pe lume un prunc fara sa aibe un sot. Aceste ganduri au speriat-o si au tulburat-o, facand-o sa caute izolare si singuratate. Si s-a retras ea intr-un loc, departe de lume, ascunzandu-se de ochii oamenilor, de teama ca taina ei sa nu fie descoperita si ca lumea sa nu cleveteasca pe seama ei.

Cand a venit vremea sa nasca, durerile facerii au impins-o langa trunchiul unui curmal, incercand sa se ascunda dupa el si sa se sprijine de el. Atunci si-a adus aminte ca ea va fi dezonorata si ar fi vrut sa fi murit mai inainte sau sa fi fost un lucru neinsemnat, dar Gavriil a linistit-o si i-a poruncit sa scuture curmalul si sa manance din fructele lui, sa bea din paraul care curgea pe langa ea si sa se linisteasca. De asemenea, a invatat-o ce sa spuna, daca o va blama cineva sau o va intreba despre sarcina ei. Si a grait Allah Preainaltul: "Si ea l-a zamislit si s-a retras cu el intr-un loc departat / Si-au apucat-o durerile langa trunchiul unui curmal si a zis ea: "O, de-as fi murit inainte de aceasta si cu totul de-as fi fost uitata!" / Dar [un glas] a strigat-o de sub ea, [zicandu-i]: "Nu fii mahnita! Domnul tau a facut mai jos de tine un paraias! / Si scutura spre tine trunchiul de curmal, caci el va lasa sa cada langa tine curmale proaspete, coapte! / Asadar mananca, bea si fii fericita [de copilul tau]! Iar de vei vedea tu vreun om, spune-i lui: "Eu I-am juruit Celui Milostiv un post si de aceea nu voi sta astazi de vorba cu nici un om!" (19,Surat Maryam: 22-26).

Cand a nascut pruncul si a iesit cu el, a fost o surpriza pentru oameni, atat pentru cei care ii cunosteau cucernicia si credinta, cat si pentru cei care nu i le cunosteau. Maria a cautat aparare in fata acestei situatii la sfatul pe care i-l daduse Gavriil si a facut semn spre pruncul ei din leagan, cerandu-le sa stea de vorba cu el. Mania lor a sporit, caci au crezut ca-si bate joc de ei, de vreme ce nu mai cunoscusera pana atunci un prunc care sa vorbeasca din leagan. Allah Preainaltul a grait: "Apoi a venit cu el la neamul ei, purtandu-l [in brate]. Si i-au zis ei: "O, Maria, tu ai facut un lucru ingrozitor! / O, sora a lui Aaron, tatal tau nu a fost un om [facator] de rau, iar mama ta nu a fost o tarfa!" / Ea [Maria] a facut semn spre el, dar ei au zis: "Cum sa vorbim cu acela care este un prunc de leagan?" / Dar el [pruncul] a zis: "Eu sunt robul lui Allah! El mi-a daruit Scriptura si m-a facut profet! / Si El m-a binecuvantat oriunde as fi, si mi-a poruncit rugaciune si milostenie cat voi trai, / Si bunacuviinta fata de nascatoarea mea! Si nu m-a facut pe mine trufas, nici ticalos!" (19, Surat Maryam: 27-32).

Isus, trimisul lui Alla

Allah l-a trimis pe Isus - pacea asupra lui! - cu profetia la fii lui Israel, dupa ce a primit revelatia de la Domnul sau, care l-a invatat Tora si Evanghelia. Allah Preainaltul a grait: "Si El il va invata scriptura si intelepciunea, Tora si Evanghelia / Si [el va fi] trimis la fiii lui Israel" (3, Surat Al . Imran: 48-49).

Aceasta s-a intamplat dupa ce ei s-au abatut de la calea cea dreapta. El a inceput sa propovaduiasca printre oameni mesajul sau si sa-i cheme pe ei sa-l urmeze, aratandu-le aspectele referitoare la ceea ce este permis si ceea ce este oprit, in legatura cu care ei aveau pareri diferite, si ingaduindu-le lor unele lucruri care le fusesera oprite. Allah Preainaltul a grait: "Si cand a venit Isus cu semnele limpezi, a zis: "Am venit la voi cu intelepciunea, pentru a va limpezi voua unele [din lucrurile] in care voi sunteti deosebiti, / Fiti cu frica de Allah si dati-mi ascultare! / Allah este Stapanul meu si este Stapanul vostru, asadar adorati-L pe El! Aceasta este calea cea dreapta!" (43, Surat Az-Zukhruf: 63-64).

Minunile lui Isus:

Cand Isus i-a chemat pe fiii lui Israel la Allah Preainaltul si le-a poruncit sa fie recunoscatori si i-a oprit de la ceea ce este reprobabil, ei i s-au impotrivit cu totii si l-au acuzat de minciuna. Atunci Allah l-a ajutat pe el sa faca o serie de minuni si acestea sunt relatate si in Coran: "Eu vin la voi cu semn de la Domnul vostru! Eu plamadesc pentru voi din lut ca un chip de pasare si suflu asupra sa si se va face o pasare vie, cu voia lui Allah. Si-i voi tamadui pe orb si pe lepros si-i voi invia pe morti, cu voia lui Allah. Eu va voi vesti ceea ce mancati si ceea ce pastrati in casele voastre. In aceasta este un semn pentru voi, daca voi sunteti credinciosi! / Eu intaresc ceea ce a fost revelat in Tora mai inainte de mine si va voi ingadui o parte din cele ce v-au fost oprite. Eu v-am adus semne de la Domnul vostru, deci fiti cu frica de Allah si dati-mi ascultare! / Allah este Stapanul meu si Stapanul vostru. Asadar, adorati-L pe El! Aceasta este o cale dreapta!" (3, Surat Al . Imran: 49-51).

Exista si o alta minune pe care Coranul ne-o relateaza: "[Aminteste-ti tu] cand apostolii au zis: "O, Isus, fiu al Mariei, poate, oare, Domnul tau sa ne coboare o masa servita din cer?" El le-a zis: "Fiti cu frica de Allah, daca sunteti credinciosi!" / Ei au zis: "Voim sa mancam din ea, ca sa se linisteasca inimile noastre si ca sa stim ca tu ne-ai spus noua numai adevarul si sa fim intru aceasta printre martori". / Atunci a zis Isus, fiul Mariei: "O, Allah, Stapan al nostru! Coboara-ne noua o masa servita din cer ca sa ne fie noua sarbatoare - pentru cel dintai si pentru cel din urma dintre noi - si semn de la Tine! Si blagosloveste-ne pe noi cu cele de ospat, caci Tu esti cel mai bun dintre cei care hranesc!" / Si i-a raspuns Alla "O voi cobori voua, dar pe acela care nu va crede nici dupa aceasta il voi pedepsi cu o pedeapsa cu care nu voi mai pedepsi pe nimeni din toate lumile!" (5, Surat Al-Ma. ida: 112-115).

Minunile lui Isus - pacea asupra lui! - au fost potrivite pentru oamenii din vremea sa, care negau Duhul. Minunea sa era de tipul propovaduirii sale care consta in chemarea la educatia spiritului si la credinta in inviere si in existenta unei alte vieti, in care cel care a savarsit bine va fi rasplatit dupa binele sau, iar cel care a savarsit rau va fi rasplatit dupa raul sau.

Declararea razboiului impotriva lui Isus - pacea asupra lui!

Adversarii mesajului sau au inceput sa insufle banuieli carmuitorilor in privinta sa si sa-i instige pe romani impotriva lui, dandu-le de inteles ca in propovaduirea lui Isus s-ar afla sfarsitul imparatului si distrugerea puterii sale. Si astfel au reusit sa-l determine pe guvernatorul roman sa dea porunca de a fi retinut si condamnat la moarte prin rastignire. Coranul relateaza ca Allah nu le-a ingaduit lor sa-l prinda pe Isus, ci l-a mantuit de primejdia lor: "Si din pricina vorbelor lor: "Noi l-am omorat pe Mesia Isus, fiul Mariei, trimisul lui Allah", in vreme ce ei nu l-au omorat, nici nu l-au rastignit pe cruce, ci a fost facut [cineva] sa semene cu el! Cei care au avut pareri diferite in privinta lui [Isus], au fost in indoiala [in legatura cu moartea lui], ei nu au avut cunostinta sigura despre ea [moartea lui], ci doar au urmat unor presupuneri". (4, Surat An-Nisa. : 157). Sensul este ca ei nu l-au ucis si nici nu l-au rastignit, asa cum au pretins si cum s-a raspandit zvonul printre oameni, ci numai li s-a parut ca l-au rastignit pe Isus, dar in realitate au rastignit pe altcineva. Iar aceia dintre oamenii Cartii care au pareri diferite despre Isus se indoiesc de adevarul rastignirii, caci nu au o dovada categorica in aceasta privinta, ci numai presupun acest lucru.

Allah Preainaltul a grait: "De buna seama, nu l-au omorat, / Ci Allah l-a inaltat la El" (4, Surat An-Nisa. : 157-158). Si Allah Preaslavitul a mai grait: "[Adu-ti aminte] cand Allah a zis: "O, Isus! Eu iti voi da rasplata imbelsugata, te voi ridica la Mine, te voi mantui de cei care nu cred" (3, Surat . Al . Imran: 55). Expresia "iti voi da rasplata imbelsugata" inseamna ca Eu iti voi da rasplata ta si nu voi da putere nimanui ca sa te ucida. In aceasta se afla dovada apararii lui Isus Christos - pacea asupra lui! - de dusmanii sai si de incercarea de a-l ucide. Iar prin cuvintele "si te voi ridica la Mine" cei mai multi comentatori au inteles ca Allah l-a ridicat la El pe Isus, cu trupul si cu duhul sau.

Aceasta este istoria lui Isus. Si a grait Preainaltul: "Acesta este Isus, fiul Mariei: Aceasta este povestea adevarata de care ei se indoiesc! / Nu se cuvine ca Allah sa-Si atribuie un fiu! Marire Lui! Daca El hotaraste un lucru, El zice "Fii!", iar el este!" (19, Surat Maryam: 34-35).

Pogorarea lui Isus, fiul Mariei pe pamant inainte de sosirea Zilei Judecatii

Pogorarea lui Isus pe pamant este unul din cele mai importante semne ale apropierii Zilei Judecatii. El va cobori, bucurandu-se inca de prima lui viata pe care i-a daruit-o Allah si va intari stalpii Legii Islamului cu care a venit profetul Muhammad - acel mesaj care anuleaza toate randuielile anterioare - fiindca mesajul lui este o confirmare a mesajului lui Muhammad, fara ca el sa mai fie confirmat cu ajutorul vreunei noi revelatii de la Allah Preaputernicul si Preainaltul.

Acest lucru este confirmat atat de Coranul cel sfant, cat si de Traditia [Sunnah] cea curata despre profet. Allah Preainaltul a grait: "Nu va fi nici unul dintre oamenii Cartii care sa nu creada in el, inaintea mortii sale. Iar in Ziua de Apoi, el va fi martor impotriva lor" (4, Surat An-Nisa. : 159). Sensul este ca nu va mai ramane nici unul dintre oamenii Cartii dupa ce se va pogori Isus - pacea asupra lui!

Exista, de asemenea, numeroase traditii [Hadisuri], dintre care le mentionam pe urmatoarele:

1. Cei doi seihi - Al-Buckhari si Muslim - au relatat, preluand de la Abu Hurayra, ca profetul Muhammad a zis: "Jur pe Acela in mainile caruia se afla sufletul meu ca este aproape sa coboare printre voi fiul Mariei ca judecator drept, si el o sa sfarme crucea, o sa omoare porcul, o sa opreasca razboiul si bunurile se vor revarsa atat de mult, incat sa nu le mai primeasca nimeni si o singura prosternare sa fie mai buna decat aceasta lume cu tot ceea ce se afla in ea". Apoi, mai zice Abu Hurayra: "Cititi, daca voiti, ceea ce a grait Allah Preainaltul: "Nu va fi nici unul dintre oamenii Cartii care sa nu creada in el, inaintea mortii sale. Iar in Ziua de Apoi, el va fi martor impotriva lor".

2. Muslim a relatat, preluand de la Huzayfa: "profetul Muhammad a venit la noi in timp ce noi ne sfatuiam si ne-a intrebat: Despre ce vorbiti voi? Am zis: Vorbeam despre Ceasul. Atunci el a zis: El nu va veni inainte ca voi sa vedeti zece semne: - fumul - exegetii au apreciat ca este vorba de fumul despre care Coranul a pomenit atunci cand Allah a grait: "Deci, asteapta o zi in care cerul va veni cu un fum vizibil!" (44, Surat Ad-Dukhan: 10) - Antichrist; animalul (ad-dabla(1)); soarele rasarit de la Apus; pogorarea lui Isus, fiul Mariei; Iagug si Magug; trei despicaturi de pamant - o despicatura in partea de rasarit, o despicatura in partea de apus si o despicatura in Peninsula Araba; iar ultima dintre acestea este un foc care va porni din Yemen si-i va alunga pe oameni catre locul lor de adunare".

3. Muslim a relatat un hadis de la An-Nawas ben Sam. an, care a spus ca profetul Muhammad a zis in legatura cu Antichrist: "(...) Si in vreme ce el [Antichristul] va fi astfel, Allah il va trimite pe Mesia, fiul Mariei, si el va pogori in minaretul cel alb de la rasarit de Damasc, acoperit cu doua straie, tinand mainile sale pe aripile a doi ingeri... Si nu se cuvine ca un necredincios sa simta suflarea lui fara sa moara. Iar suflarea lui ajunge pana in zarea lui. Si el il urmareste (pe Antichrist) pana ce il va prinde la poarta orasului Ludd si-l va omori. Apoi va veni la Isus un neam de oameni pe care Allah i-a aparat de el si le va mangaia fetele lor si le va vorbi despre treptele lor din Rai".

4. Ahmad a relatat ca Abu Hurayra a spus: A zis profetul Muhammad: "Profetii sunt frati, mamele lor sunt diferite, insa religia lor este una singura. Iar eu sunt cel mai apropiat dintre oameni de Isus, fiul Mariei, caci intre mine si el nu a fost nici un alt profet. Si el va pogori, iar cand il veti vedea, o sa-l cunoasteti: el este un barbat de inaltime mijlocie, alb-roscat, cu doua straie pe el; capul lui parca picura, cu toate ca nu l-a udat. Si va lovi el crucea si va omori porcul si va pune birul si-i va chema pe oameni la Islam. Iar Allah va nimici in vremea lui toate religiile, afara de Islam, iar Mesia il va nimici pe Antichrist si va ramane pe pamant patruzeci de ani, iar dupa aceea va muri si se vor ruga musulmanii pentru el."

De aceea, toti musulmanii au crezut in pogorarea lui Isus, fiul Mariei, in vremurile cele din urma, in modul si cu calitatile pe care le-a pomenit profetul Muhammad, ca si in faptul ca el s-a urcat la cer cu trupul sau viu, asa cum a aratat Allah Preainaltul si Preaputernicul in Coranul cel sfant cu toata limpezimea.

Incheiem istoria despre Isus cu discutia care va avea loc intre el si intre Allah Preaslavitul in Ziua Invierii, asa cum se relateaza in Coran: "Si va zice Alla "O, Isus, fiu al Mariei! Le-ai spus tu oamenilor: "Luati-ma pe mine si pe mama mea drept dumnezei in locul lui Allah!?" El ii va raspunde: "Marire Tie! Eu nu as fi putut sa spun ceea ce nu aveam dreptul sa spun! Daca as fi spus, ai sti, caci Tu doara sti ce este in sufletul meu, pe cand eu nu stiu ce este in sufletul Tau! Doar Tu esti Stiutorul celor nestiute! / Eu nu le-am spus decat ceea ce mi-ai poruncit: "Adorati-L pe Allah, Domnul meu si Domnul vostru!" Si am fost martor impotriva lor atata vreme cat m-am aflat printre ei. Si dupa ce m-ai luat la Tine, ai fost doar Tu Priveghetor peste ei, caci Tu esti Martor tuturor lucrurilor!" (5, Surat Al-Ma. ida: 116-117).1)

POLIGAMIA SI ISLAMUL

Islamul este o religie practica. Ea poate raspunde tuturor problemelor umane. Islam permite poligamia restrans - casatoria cu mai mult de o femeie, maximum patru. Practica musulmana normala este monogamia - un barbat casatorit cu o femeie - poligamia constituie o exceptie.
Coranul a impus conditii stricte pentru casatoria cu mai muite femei.
"Si daca te temi ca nu-ti vei trata corect orfanii, casatoreste-te cu femeile care ti se par bune, doua sau trei sau patru; si daca te temi ca nu poti fi corect cu atatea, atunci doar cu una sau cea pe care o are mana ta dreapta In stapanire. Astfel e mai mult probabil ca nu vei cornite o injustitie" (4.3)
Acest verset spune ca un barbat, pentru a se casatori cu mai mult de o femeie, trebuie sa fie capabil de a fi drept si just fata de fiecare dintre ele. Daca el nu este capabil sa fie astfel, ar trebui sa se casatoreasca doar cu o femeie.
Un alt verset din Coran spune:
"Nu vei fi capabil sa te Imparti corect Intre sotiile tale, oricat ai dori acest lucru. Totusi nu-i Intoarce uneia dintre ele spatele cu totul. Daca-ti mentii o purtare potrivita si-ti faci datoria, Allah este vesnic lertator si Milostiv." (4:129)
Aceasta continua sa accentueze pe un comportament onest. Dar, In situatiile speciale, Islamul permite poligamia. Aceste situatii sunt:
1. Cand sotia este stearpa si nu poate avea copii, dar sotul vrea copii. E mai bine sa ai a doua nevasta decat sa divortezi de cea stearpa. Dar o sotie stearpa poate opta pentru separarea de sot daca ea doreste acest lucru, pe baza celei de-a doua casatorii a sotului ei.
2. Daca prima sotie este bolnava cronic si incapabila de a?si Indeplini datoriile maritale si casnice, sotul se poate casatori cu o alta femeie si, astfel, sa restaureze pacea familiei.
3. Poligamia poate fi solutia problemelor unor societati In care exista mai multe femei decat barbati. Aceasta se Intampla In special dupa razboi. Versetul din Coran care permite mai mult de o sotie a fost revelat dupa batalia de la Uhud In care multi barbati musulmani au fost martirizati.
Proportia de femei la un barbat a crescut considerabil In tarile care au luat parte la primul si la al doilea Razboi Mondial. O solutie a unei asemenea situatii este casatoria cu mai mult de o femeie a acelor barbati care sunt capabili si care pot fi drepti cu fiecare sotie. Acest lucru este de preferat lasarii unui numar mare de femei necasatorite.
Islamul interzice strict orice relatii sexuale In afara casatoriei. in societatea islamica nu exista iubite (bovnice). Islamul le-a dat femeilor demnitate prin casatorie si le-a protejat de exploatarea barbatilor egoisti si lacomi. Este mai bine si mai demn sa ai mai mult de o sotie decat sa ai un numar de iubite. Islamul te face raspunzator de faptele tale. Nu te poti doar simti bine fara sa ai vreo raspundere de paternitate. Aceasta Inseamna adevarata injustitie si lipsa de umanitate. Astfel, nu pot exista familii cu un singur parinte sau copii ilegitimi In societatea islamica. Acest lucru este posibil doar Intr-un climat cultural de iresponsabila libertate. O femeie care va deveni a doua sotie poate refuza sa se casatoreasca cu un barbat pe motivul ca acesta are deja o sotie.
Dar daca o femeie consimte la recasatoria sotului ei si a doua sotie este de acord si ea, cine ar putea sa obiecteze?
Marea majoritate a musulmanilor sunt monogami - ei au doar o sotie. Faptul ca exista cativa musulmani care au avut mai mult de o sotie a devenit un subiect pentru propaganda Impotriva islamului si o astfel de propaganda poate da o impresie gresita asupra modului islamic de viata. Aceasta este asa In special cand exista musulmani care sunt atrasi de perspectiva de a fi casatoriti cu mai mult de o nevasta.
Opus poligamiei, poate fi abordata posibilitatea poliandriei (a avea mai mult de un sot). Cazul poliandriei este nepractic si creeaza probleme In loc sa le rezolve. Cum va fi decisa paternitatea? Care sot va reclama paternitatea copilului? Cum se va decide mostenirea? Asemenea Intrebari nu primesc raspuns In poliandrie.
Mai mult, este posibil pentru un barbat sa traiasca cu mai mult de o sotie si sa aiba copii de la toate, dar ca o femeie sa multumeasca mai mult de un sot pare aproape imposibil. O femeie poate avea copii doar de la un sot. Poliandria este interzisa In Islam.
Islamul este un mod practic de viata. El a raspuns realitatii si necesitatii. De asemenea, a pus o frana tendintelor umane si a asigurat un echilibru. Sistemul este Intelept si perfect stiintific, complet logic.
Allah - Atotcunoscatorul a hotarat ce e mai bine pentru noi. Nu vrem sa aparam sistemul, sa-l scuzam. Islamul da cel mai bun raspuns tuturor problemelor. Nu putem acuza Islamul daca nu-l cunoastem sau nu-l Intelegem. Islamul trebuie privit ca Intreg, nu doar ca o parte a sa. Aceasta deoarece Islamul priveste viata ca Intreg, ca unitate, si nu o divizeaza.
Toate ramurile vietii sunt In interrelatie; statutul femeilor, casatoria si viata de familie sunt doar aspecte singulare ale Intregului sistem islamic.

Discipolii profetului Ya'cub (Iacob), tatal profetului losif, sunt numiti Bani Isra'il (israelieni). Bani lsra'il traise In Egipt din zilele profetului losif. Profetul lacob a fost cunoscut ca Isra'il.
Faraonul, sau conducatorul Egiptului i-a privit pe Bani Isra'il ca pe "straini" si i-a tratat cu asprime. Conducatorii se temeau ca Intr-o zi Bani Isra'il vor creste la numar si vor fi puternici. Asa ca faraonul a dat ordin sa fie ucis fiecare copil de sex masculin nascut In familie de Isra'il. (28:4-6).
Moise s-a nascut In aceste vremuri critice. Mama sa a reusit sa-l ascunda trei luni si cand n-a mai putut aceasta, a fost inspirata de Allah sa-l puna pe Moise Intr-o cutie special facuta si sa-l arunce In rau. (20:38-39). Maria, sora lui Moise, a fost pusa sa urmareasca cutia plutitoare de la o distanta menita de a evita suspiciuni. (28:11)
Cutia a atins celalalt mal si unul dintre membrii familiei faraonului a cules-o si a ramas entuziasmat sa gaseasca Inauntru un baietel adorabil. Moise a fost apoi luat de sotia faraonului, iar ea a fost foarte multumita de a avea copilul si l-a adoptat. (28:8-9).
Sora lui Moise a mers la palatul faraonului si a oferit ca sugestie o doica pentru a avea grija de copil, o femeie, care sa fie potrivita pentru a-l alapta. Aceasta femeie nu era alta decat mama lui Moise. (28-12).
Astfel, Moise s-a Intors In bratele mamei sale. in acest mod, s-a dovedit ca nimeni nu poate distruge o persoana pe care Allah o protejeaza.
Musa (Moise) a crescut In casa regala si In acest timp a sosit un egiptean care-l batea pe un israelian. Moise i-a dat o lovitura egipteanului si l-a omorat din greseala. (28:15)
El a parasit casa faraonului si a plecat la Midian. (28:22-28). A stat acolo zece ani Inainte de a se muta la Tuwa, o vale la poala muntelui At-Tur In Sinai. Aici, lui Moise i s-a acordat calauzire divina de la Allah si a fost ales ca trimis al lui Allah (28:30). Allah i-a Incredintat lui Musa doua semne: un bat, care aruncat jos se prefacea Intr-un sarpe viu, si abilitatea de a-si face mana stralucitoare dupa ce era tinuta sub brat. (20:17-22)
Allah i-a poruncit lui Moise sa se duca la Fir'awn si sa-l cheme la Tawhid. (20:42-44)
El l-a rugat pe Allah sa-l ia ca ajutor pe fratele lui, Harun, iar Allah i-a Indeplinit ruga. (20-36)
Moise si Harun au mers la Faraon si au discutat cu el, spunandu-i ca Atotputernicul Allah Il alesese pe Moise pentru a-i salva pe israeliti de sub opresiunea egiptenilor. Faraonul a refuzat sa-i lase pe israeliti sa plece. (20:47-54, 26:16-17)
Faraonul a ras de Moise. Moise i-a aratat semnele pentru a-l convinge pe Faraon ca mesajele sale sunt adevarate. El a aruncat batul pe pamant si acesta s-a transformat Intr-un sarpe. Moise l-a ridicat si acesta s-a facut din nou bat. Faraonul si cei din jur au fost uimiti sa vada aceasta. Dar el s-a gandit ca Moise este un vrajitor si l-a provocat care vor putea arata magii mai fascinante. (26:23-37).
Dar In ziua fixata, vrajitorii faraonului au fost crunt Infranti. Serpii falsi produsi din betele lor au fost toti Inghititi de sarpele batului lui Moise. Faraonul si vrajitorii lui nu-si puteau crede ochilor. Vrajitorii lui s-au Inclinat In fata adevarului si si-au declarat credinta In Allah (26:38-47).
Fir'awn s-a suparat si a Inceput sa-i tortureze mai rau pe Bani Isra'il.
in acest timp Allah i-a poruncit lui Moise sa paraseasca Egiptul Impreuna cu discipolii sai. (20:77) Moise le-a cerut discipolilor sai sa se pregateasca si au plecat noaptea, ca Faraonul sa nu bage de seama si au ajuns la malul Nilului. Au fost urmariti de Fir'awn si de soldatii lui. Aproape ca i-au ajuns pe israelieni. in fata lor se afla puternicul Nil, iar In spatele lor se aflau soldatii Faraonului. in acest moment, Allah i-a poruncit lui Moise sa-si arunce batul In apa si Indata ce facu astfel, Nilul s-a Impartit In doua si a aparut In mijlocul lui un drum, permitandu-le Israelitilor sa treaca. (26:52-65).
Faraonul venea din urma, dar cand israelitii au atins celalalt mal, Faraonul se afla In mijlocul Nilului, apa din ambele parti s-a revarsat brusc si n-a mai fost nici un drum.
Faraonul si soldatii lui s-au Inecat acolo. (26:66) Astfel Ii pedepseste Allah pe tradatori si-i ajuta pe slujitorii sai.

PROFETUL 'ISA (ISUS)

(Pacea fie cu el)

Bani Isra'il au primit multe daruri de la Atotputernicul Allah. Dar au fost foarte nerecunoscatori. Ei au Incalcat ordinele lui Allah, i-au ridiculizat pe profeti si i-au ucis pe cativa dintre ei. Au Inceput sa venereze idoli si au facut din mesajul lui Allah o batjocura.
Allah, Milostivul, a trimis un profet pentru a-i aduce la credinta dreapta. Acest profet a fost Isus, fiu al lui Maryam (Maria). (2:87) Allah l-a pus pe Injil (Evanghelie, carte sfanta) si Isus a confirmat ce era In Tawrat (Torah).(5:46, 61:6)
Nasterea lui Isus a fost un miracol. El a fost nascut de fecioara Maria fara un tata, prin porunca lui Allah. (19:17-21). Allah poate face orice. Totul este posibil pentru El. Cand El vrea sa faca ceva, El doar spune: "sa fie" si este. (2:117)
Stim ca Adam a fost creat de Allah fara tata si fara mama. Deci Lui i-a fost usor sa-l creeze pe Isus fara tata.
Copilul Isus nascut de fecioara Maria a vorbit de cand era mic. El a fost Inaintat profet la 30 de ani si a actionat ca profet 3 ani. (19:29-34)
Allah l-a Inzestrat cu niste puteri miraculoase. El putea face pasari din lut, vindeca lepra imediat, ochii orbilor, si-i putea face pe morti sa Invie. Toate aceste miracole i-au fost date de Allah. Coranul Ii mentioneaza puterile miraculoase si nasterea lui Isus In Surah Al 'Imran: (si amintiti-va) cand Ingerul a spus: O, Maria! Allah Iti va da vestea buna a unui cuvant de la El, al carui nume este Messiah, Isus, Fiu al Mariei, ilustru In Lume si pe Lumea cealalta si unul dintre cei adusi aproape de Allah. "
"El va vorbi omenirii In leagan si cand va fi barbat, si e drept." (3:46)
"Ea (Maria) a spus: Stapanul meu! Cum pot avea un copil cand nici un muritor nu m-a atins?" El spu "Asa (va fi). Allah creeaza ce El doreste. Daca El hotaraste un lucru, Ii spune doar: "Fii!" si este. (3:47)
Si el Il va Invata Scriptura si Intelepciunea si Torah (cartile sfinte ale Evreilor) si Evanghelia. (3:48)
Si Il face mesager pentru copiii Isra'il-ului (spunand): "Vin la voi cu un semn de la Stapanul meu. Vedeti! Modelez pentru voi o pasare lut, prin Invoirea lui Allah. iI vindec pe cel care a fost orb si pe lepros, si trezesc mortul prin Invoirea lui Allah si va spun ce mancati si ce tineti In casele voastre. Aici exista, Intr-adevar, o sansa pentru voi, daca veti deveni credinciosi. (3:49)
Si vin la voi confirmand ceea ce a fost Inaintea mea In Torah (Cartea sfanta a Evreilor), si pentru a legifera ceea ce v?a fost interzis. Vin la voi ca un semn de la Stapanul vostru asa ca pastrati-va datoria catre Allah si ascultati-ma. (3:50)
Allah este Stapanul meu, si al vostru, asa ca Inchinati-va Lui. Aceasta e credinta dreapta." (3:51)
El le-a cerut oamenilor sa-l asculte doar pe Allah, dar adeptii sai fantasmau despre el si Il considerau o parte din Allah. (5:11, 6-117)
Credem In Isus ca profet si slujitor al lui Allah. (43:59). Nu credeau In el ca fiu al lui Allah. Allah nu poate avea un fiu sau fiica. El este deasupra oricarei astfel de notiuni. Allah este Unul si Indivizibil. Nu exista ideea de unitate In Trinitate In Islam. (4:171) Trinitatea este asociere clara (Eschivare). Este un pacat mare sa spui de cineva ca e fiul lui Allah. (5:17, 19:35)
Dupa Coran, Profetul Isus nu a fost crucificat pana la moarte, ci a fost ridicat de Allah Atotputernicul si Cel Mai Intelept. (4:157-158). Pentru Allah, totul e posibil. El l-a salvat pe Avram de foc si pe Moise de Faraon.

(LEGISLATIA ISLAMICA)

Pana acum am analizat conceptul de credinta sau religie. In continuare vom incerca sa analizam seriat-ul profetului. Mai inainte de toate sa clarificam deosebirea intre religie si sariat.

DEOSEBIREA DINTRE RELIGIE SI SERIAT

In capitolele precedente sustinusem faptul ca toti profetii care au aparut de-a lungul timpului au propovaduit islamul. Ei, fara exceptie, au propovaduit islamul, adica credinta intr-un singur Allah, in ziua judecatii de apoi, in profeti si scripturi si au indrumat oamenii sa duca o viata plina de supusenie fata de Allah.

Aceste adevaruri exprima religia si ele reies si din invataturile tuturor profetilor.

Alaturi de acest mod de percepre a religiei, mai exista si seriat-ul (Legislatia musulmana) care curpinde o serie de legi, norme si reguli de practicare a credintei, de comportare in viata de toate zilele, intr-un cuvant un indreptar care pune in ordine viata comunitatii musulmane.

De-a lungul timpurilor aceste legi, aceste norme si reguli au fost supuse unor modificari, imbunatatiri. Fiecare profet in parte, desi toti profetii au propovaduit aceeasi religie, in functie de poporul caruia se adresa si in functie de conditiile existente intr-o perioada data, a adus cu sine un alt seriat.

Acest proces a continuat pana la profetul Muhammed, care a adus oamenilor un seriat care ii va calauzi pe oameni pana la sfarsitul lumii. Religia a ramas absolut aceeasi, dar seriat-ul atat de curpinzator si generos, adus de profetul Muhammed, le-a anulat pe toate celelalte.

SURSELE SERIAT-ULUI

Exista doua surse importante de informare in ceea ce priveste seriat-ul profetului Muhammed: Coranul si Hadis-ul. Coranul este o creatie divina si fiecare cuvant al sau apartine lui Allah, iar Hadis-ul este o colectie a spuselor lui Muhammed cu diferite prilejuri si de asemenea consemnari privind obiceiurile profetului. Spusele si obiceiurile profetului au fost consemnate si prelucrate de catre unele personalitati ale islamului. In acest sens cartile elaborate de catre imamii Muslim, Timiza, Ebu Dauud, Nesea si Ebnu Mage.

FAKAH-UL (JURISPRUDENTA)

Mai multi teologi musulmani s-au ocupat de jurisprudenta musulmana, elaborand mai multe lucrari importante in acest domeniu. In pofida acestei situatii, in prezent toate aceste conceptii si pareri se concentreaza in jurul a patru doctrine. Acestea sunt:

1. Jurisprudenta Hanefi. Aceasta este acea jurisprudenta care a fost redactata cu colaborarea si pe baza culegerilor efectuate de catre Abu Hanife Numan Ibin Sabit, Abu Yusuf, Zufar si alte mari personalitati ale stiintei religiei islamice.

2. Jurisprudenta Safii. Este jurisprudenta intemeiata de catre Muhammed Ibni Idris-es Safii.

3. Jurisprudenta Malika. Intemeietorul acestei jurisprudente este Malika Iban Anas.

4. Jurisprudenta Hambali. Autorul acestei jurisprudente este Ahmed Ibin Hanbel.

Toate cele patru doctrine juridice au capatat contur aproximativ dupa doua sute de ani de la disparitia profetului. Aparitia celor patru doctrine diferite este determinata de existenta unor realitati diferite. Analizand cele patru doctrine ne putem da seama de seriozitatea si soliditatea parerilor si argumentelor curpinse in ele. Tocmai de aceea musulmanii accepta si aproba toate aceste patru doctrine.

TASA’UUF-UL

(MISTICA - MISTICISM)

Fakah-ul (jurisprudenta) are menirea de a rezolva chestiunile practice exterioare ale comportamentului uman, pe cand Tasa’uuf-ul are in vedere spiritul. Astfel, atunci cand un musulman savarseste rugaciunea, fakah-ul are in competenta sa indicarea unor modalitati practice de profesare a religiei. Asa spre exemplu, el indica cum se face abdest-ul (spalarea rituala), faptul ca rugaciunea se face stand cu fata spre Mecca, vremea rugaciunii li modul cum se procedeaza in timpul salat-ului. Pe cand Tasavuuf-ul are in vedere participarea noastra spirituala la salat, puritatea noastra sufleteasca atunci cand ne rugam.

Astfel, fakah-ul are in vedere indeplinirea, pana in cele mai mici amanunte, a tuturor poruncilor, pe cand adevarata mistica islamica constituie masura supunerii si sinceritatii sufletului nostru. Exemplul de mai inainte scoate in evidenta raportul existent intre fakah si tasa’ uuf.

Din pacate, in timp, mistica pura islamica a fost denaturata, fiind poluata cu niste absurditati care nu au legatura cu Coranul si nici cu Hadisul. Au aparut asa-zisii musulmani care in vorbe se simteau legati intr-un fel de seriat, dar in fapte se considerau a fi deasupra lui. Acesti oameni n-au cunostinta despre ceea ce inseamna islamul, pentru ca aceasta religie nu recunoaste o mistica care sa nu aiba legaturi stranse cu seriatul. Nici un mistic nu are voie sa nesocoteasca legile si normele seriat-ului si nici salat-ului zilnic, postul, zakat-ul sau pelerinajul.

Adevarata semnificatie a tasav’uuf-ului este exprimarea unei netarmurite dragoste fata de Allah si profetul Muhammed. Numai respectand cu devotament poruncile lui noi ne exprimam aceasta dragoste a noastra. Cine abdica de la poruncile lui Allah, acela nu poate sustine ca il iubeste pe Allah.
